How Alcohol affects our bodies?

Alcohol-Drinking alcohol is dangerous for kids and teens and sometimes for adults, too. Alcohol is a drug, and it is the drug most abused by teens. Many kids have their first drink at an early age, as young as 10 or 11 or even younger.
Alcohol can cause high blood preasure,which increases the risk of having a heart attack or stroke.it also weakens the heart muscles which can effect the lungs,liver,brain and other body parts and can also cause heart failiure.


Have you ever wondered how alcohol affects your blood? A stroke is a serious,life threatening medical condition that occurs when the blood supply to the part of the brain is cut off that happens when you drink too much alcohol and you have low pressured blood. Drinking too much alcohol can raise blood pressure to unhealthy levels. Having more than three drinks in one sitting temporarily increases your blood pressure, but repeated binge drinking can lead to long-term increases.
Heavy drinkers who cut back to moderate drinking can lower their  blood pressure

Alcohol that is  not broken down by the liver goes to the rest of the body,including the brain.Alcohol can affect different parts of the brain that control the way of movement,speech,judgement and memory.These effects can  lead to familiar signs of drunkenness It can also make you have Difficulty walking,slurred speech, memory lapses,and impulsive behaviour.

Did you know that Alcohol can cause heart failure? Heavy drinking can make you more likely to get serious health problems like liver disease,cancer,and peptic ulcers, and a lot more.Regular or high alcohol can hurt your heart and lead to diseases at the heart muscles. binge drinking can cause irregular heart rhythms.Drinking alcohol could cause your blood pressure to rise,increase your heart rate,and cause your heart to beat abnormally and can increase the size of your heart in any way.

Drinking when pregnant is dangerous. Drinking alcohol when you are pregnant can cause harm to your child.When the mother drinks alcohol, it can pass through to the baby's blood and damage and affect the growth of the baby's cells.Brain and spinal cord cells are most likely to get damaged through the process.A baby born to a mother who drinks alcohol during her pregnancy may suffer from Alcohol Fetal Syndrome.  The baby may suffer from problems with their vision, hearing, memory, attention span, and abilities to learn and communicate.
