for the past few weeks every Monday we have been going to class music we got given music books and at the back there was a lot of challenges about composers or singers you had to complete these are the challenges you had to complete plus 2 extras here they are

• research a new zealander performer classical or popular and present to the class make sure  you include key information so that we learn something about the performer and include a audio clip from the performer.
• research a singer/songwriter and present to the class in any form make sure you include key information about the composer and include an audio clip.
• research on of the following:Harry belafonte, Bob dylan,Joan baez,Neil young,Elvis Presley,Elton john,The beatles or the beach boys. include key information so that we learn something about the singer/group and a audio clip.

and there is three extras:

A.   compose a song or voice or a piece for an instrument and perform it

• song must have at least three verses and choruses and chords to accompany if possible
• piece to be at least 16 bars long within the range of the instrument.

compose a piece of music using garageband or another computer program and share it with the class.

B. you can also earn gold cultural points if you play your chosen instrument to the class there is also a sight reading challenge
